CATHERINE GREEN
B I O G R A P H Y
Growing up in Newport Beach, California, Catherine performed as a lead in a variety of musicals, such as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Anita in West Side Story, Peter in Peter Pan, Rizzo in Grease, Ms. Hannigan in Annie, and Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress. She has also been in Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Evita and an original musical which she choreographed, A Night at the Coconut Grove.
Catherine has been a soloist at St. Mark Presbyterian Church since she was in high school. She also performs monthly with Synerjazz at Muldoon's Irish Pub. In addition, Catherine is a lyricist and songwriter, writing original works with jazz pianist and composer Ron Levy.
Catherine has lived abroad in France and Latin America and speaks French and Spanish which she incorporates into some of her songs, particularly French Cafe. A life-long student, she is always learning new styles of music.
Catherine is available for as a church soloist, for weddings, memorials, and other life events in Orange County and Southern California. More than anything, Catherine loves to sing and to spread the joy of music. She looks forward to performing at your gig, wedding or other occasion!
